Can summer leave now? I am beginning to hate people, children’s books, and whiny parents. I hate it when i am bent over in my chair with my head in the book drop getting out six thousand picture books and a parents drops off all of their crap right at my station. It’s followed by the inevitable remark: “These are overdue and I would like to see what my fines are.” Oh, drop it in the box like everyone else, let us have the time to check them in, and then pay fines at the end. RRRR

Work was just a little stressful today So I thought I would blow off some steam playing around on the net. I found an interesting link to Women in Film a pictography of sorts of leading ladies. It’s interesting to see these faces fly by and see what Hollywood has picked as the leading beauty of the day.

I have Snopes sent to me daily and for the most part I don’t read the blurbs. Sorry snopes. This one caught my attention about a man winning the lottery but turns out to be a practical joke. Usually it involves the man leaves his wife and his job, admitting he was sleeping with either the sister or Secretary in the process. So my question is this, what would you really do if you won the lottery. Sports cars, new houses, lavish vacations, perhaps some charity are the accepted answers but what would you really do if you won enough so you didn’t have to work ever again?

Deep thought isn’t it. I would like the hubs and I both to work as routine is good. I would like to continue using the libary-purchasing those items it doesn’t have. I would love to travel the US in an RV/Camper. Europe, Great Britian, some of Asia, Far East are all on my travel itinerary. In all honesty, I would probably blow it. I’d need a great accountant. But I am not sure I am that mean spirited to walk out on everything.

One of those days, like I have had? Try a war flick! British station has listed 100 Greatest War Flicks. I’ve seen the top four (in no particular order): Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Schindler’s List, Great Escape. Any of these make for a good movie if your up for blood and guts.

More baseball! A listing of baseball’s most unbreakable records. Try and break Nolan Ryan’s record!

One last item before I make a run to my mom’s house. How good are you at popular music? Album covers? Check this out then. Go ahead and give it a shot!

Well, y’all have a great day!
